Overview
A column chart with the visual language of an audio meter. Codex Equalizer Bar quantises each column into discrete lit blocks, leaves the unlit blocks faintly visible so the full scale stays readable, and can float a peak-hold block at the period high — the same trick a VU meter uses to show where a level has been, not just where it is.

Block quantisation is the point, but it has a cost: values that sit within one block of each other render identically. If your categories cluster tightly, raise the block-row count until the differences you care about land on separate blocks.
